Art for their sake

About

Art For Their Sake deploys the skills of professional artists, covering a wide range of skills, to provide community based projects.

Anybody can take part in our projects, we welcome everybody, with all levels of ability.

We work throughout the North West but our art studio where we hold our outdoor art/music and poetry classes is based in Aughton.

We strive to create an atmosphere of productive enjoyment and propagate an appreciation of art. We provide tuition and guidance, inspiration and interaction within a range of projects, and create an environment that educates, motivates, stimulates and excites.

What’s the Buzz?

It's the sound of thousands of people across West Lancs making a difference every day.

It’s people helping their neighbours, volunteers running a community group, faith groups serving their local communities, social enterprises showing ethical ways of doing business.

The voluntary sector in West Lancs has an impressive history of delivering activities and services that have become vital to the well-being of many.

Our Directory showcases this local support and activity, and the CVS is proud to be the key local body supporting and developing this amazing work over the past 50 years.

This is just the start for the Directory– we need you to get involved to make sure all the fantastic groups that make West Lancs such a buzzing place are in it!
