Burscough Community Farm aims to be a space where people can access nature, learn about nature and growing, reap physical and mental benefits of being in nature.

Organic Veg Growing: At the heart of the farm is the Market Garden and vegetable growing, which provides some income for the farm.

Wildlife and Nature: Increasing biodiversity on the farm not only helps wildlife, improving biodiversity helps vegetable growing and makes the farm a beautiful place to be.

Social Mission: BCF is a 'not for profit' Social Enterprise with a distinct social mission of improving the health and well-being of those who are involved with the farm.

About West Lancs CVS

West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services is a charity, set up in 1973, and is the key infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in West Lancashire.

We help local people set up and develop voluntary and community groups, and network with other organisations.

We recruit volunteers for local organisations and support people to volunteer through our accredited Volunteer Centre. Find out more here.

We represent voluntary and community groups to statutory and other organisations, and partnerships
