Lathom Park Trust works to research, preserve and promote the history of Lathom Park. It carries out and supports historical and archaeological research within Lathom Park, promotes its historical and archaeological significance of and encourages the protection and preservation of its significant sites. It also offers training for the general public in historical research.

Becoming a member of Lathom Park Trust brings you information updates, newsletters, opportunities to get personally involved with archaeological excavations and research under expert guidance, friendly meetings, social events and a diverse range of projects relating to the ever unfolding tapestry of Lathom.

West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services is a charity, set up in 1973, and is the key infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in West Lancashire.

We help local people set up and develop voluntary and community groups, and network with other organisations.

We recruit volunteers for local organisations and support people to volunteer through our accredited Volunteer Centre. Find out more here.
