Midstream provides quality employment and enhanced employment opportunities in a caring environment for young people and adults who have special needs.

Our programmes include:

> Work Activity, Training & Day Care: Our standard social care programme for young people and adults – all ages – who are disadvantaged in the world of work through learning disabilities
> Pathways to Adulthood: an enhanced social care programme dedicated to young people – ages 16 to 24yrs – who are making the transition from school life into adulthood

We also run a corporate garden maintenance service, and a garden centre and cafe - both open to the public.

About West Lancs CVS

West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services is a charity, set up in 1973, and is the key infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in West Lancashire.

We help local people set up and develop voluntary and community groups, and network with other organisations.

We recruit volunteers for local organisations and support people to volunteer through our accredited Volunteer Centre. Find out more here.
