About

Ormskirk Camera Club is a small friendly club that caters for people in West Lancs who have an interest in photography.

We hold weekly meetings between September and May and trips and outings during the summer.

We cater for photographers of all abilities and offer a mixed programme to appeal to old and new members.

Our activities include:
• Talks/Presentations by outside speakers
• Talks/Presentations by our own members
• Practical nights where we focus on a specific aspect or genre of photography
• Friendly competitions with guest judges who provide expert advice
• Two annual photographic exhibitions each year.
• Group trips to local events or in particular locations (e.g. Lake District, Liverpool. Wirral, Manchester etc)
• Opportunities to develop digital photo processing skills, both on club practical nights or through a monthly Zoom group.

About West Lancs CVS

West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services is a charity, set up in 1973, and is the key infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in West Lancashire.

  • We help local people set up and develop voluntary and community groups, and network with other organisations.
