The Peter Lathom Charity
About
The Peter Lathom Charity is a local trust which makes grants to individuals and organisations for the relief of poverty and education/training. The current trustees work to proactively identify recipients and provide assistance within the charity's criteria. Yearly distributions also include benefits to schools and to individual pupils meeting the eligibility criteria.
The Peter Lathom Charity scheme prescribes the areas of benefit which are 12 specific Districts, most of which fall within West Lancashire, as follows: Ulnes Walton and Eccleston, Newburgh and Lathom, Welch Whittle, Heskin and Wrightington, Dalton and Parbold, Bispham and Mawdesley, Skelmersdale, Bickerstaffe, Ormskirk, Scarisbrick, Rufford, Croston and Burscough.
