The Wise Group is a Social Enterprise founded over 40 years ago in Scotland. We are dedicated to lifting people out of poverty through professional mentoring.

Our main areas of work include employability, energy advice and advocacy and community justice. Our footprint extends across Scotland and North East England and we are growing our service areas to Lancashire.

We have a community hub in Preston along with several others in our key service deliver areas. We have delivered contracts for the MOJ in the NW in recent years.

About West Lancs CVS

West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services is a charity, set up in 1973, and is the key infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in West Lancashire.

We help local people set up and develop voluntary and community groups, and network with other organisations.

We recruit volunteers for local organisations and support people to volunteer through our accredited Volunteer Centre. Find out more here.
