We offer a wide variety of social clubs and activities aimed at the elderly, lonely, socially disadvantaged, those with learning difficulties, those with mental health problems.

We also have an active alcohol abuse support programme and a drug abuse support programme.

Regular Events:

> Renew Wellbeing 100: Mondays 9am to 12 noon

> Old Age Pensioners: Mondays 12.30- 3.30 p.m.

> Foodbank Distribution Session: Wednesdays 10am – 12 noon

> Knit and Natter: Thursdays 10am. to 12:30pm

> Keep Fit: Fridays 10am to 12 noon

> Warm Space: Thursdays 10- 1p.m

> Carousel (music and dance group for those with special educational needs): Fridays 1.30 -4 p.m.

> Sunshine Club: The last Wednesday of every month. 12.30 – 3.30 p.m

> Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous: Meets every week. For details ring Derek Ashcroft 01695 726494.

About West Lancs CVS

West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services is a charity, set up in 1973, and is the key infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in West Lancashire.

  • We help local people set up and develop voluntary and community groups, and network with other organisations.
