West Lancashire Footpath Group
About
West Lancashire Footpath Group (WLFG) was founded in 1977 and aims to:
- encourage all members of the community to get active by walking and enjoy rambling
- defend public footpaths in West Lancashire
- extend the local footpath network
To help ensure all footpaths in West Lancashire are walked regularly, walks are arranged twice monthly, in the winter, and more frequently in the summer. Daytime rambles are approximately 5 miles and easy/moderate rating.
If you would like to ramble around the West Lancashire countryside, meet new people or just enjoy the beautiful scenery, take a look at the current walks programme on the website. Alternatively use the 'contact us' form on the website to get in touch today.
If you are interested in participating in any of the walks, you do not need to book in advance, just turn up on the day!
The group are always looking for new walk leaders to help promote the groups objectives. If you would be interested in leading a walk, do get in touch.
