Willowbrook hospice offers short term care, usually a couple of weeks, for patients St Helens and Knowsley with complex needs and referrals are accepted on this basis. Patients admitted to our specialist ward will have the benefit of care from a highly skilled team, including complex discharge planning support. We are unable to offer long term nursing care or care at end of life where the person does not have complex needs.

West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services is a charity, set up in 1973, and is the key infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in West Lancashire.

We help local people set up and develop voluntary and community groups, and network with other organisations.

We recruit volunteers for local organisations and support people to volunteer through our accredited Volunteer Centre. Find out more here.
