Woodlands Animal Sanctuary was established in 2005. Our goal is...
"To relieve the suffering of animals of any species who are in need of care and attention, and in particular to provide or maintain refuge, secure homes, sanctuaries or other facilities for the reception and care of unwanted animals and the treatment of sick or ill-treated animals."

Woodlands Hubs are a new community fundraising initiative to help our work. The three retail hubs operating in Chorley, Skelmersdale and Southport offer fairly priced clothing, furniture, books, toys and vintage goods for sale with all funds raised going directly to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of vulnerable and neglected animals. Donations are welcome from Wednesday - Sunday between 10am-2pm.

About West Lancs CVS

West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Services is a charity, set up in 1973, and is the key infrastructure organisation for voluntary and community groups in West Lancashire.

We help local people set up and develop voluntary and community groups, and network with other organisations.

We recruit volunteers for local organisations and support people to volunteer through our accredited Volunteer Centre. Find out more here.
